Trip † Details
When serving with Olive Cove, we coordinate your travel, housing, food, and logistics for the ministry. An Olive Cove mission trip allows you to teach, treat, build, or simply experience the true Haitian culture.
The most common trip lasts 6-7 days. We fly direct to Cap Haitian, Haiti via private charter plane which departs from Ft. Pierce, Florida. From Cap Haitian it is then a short 20 minute bus ride to the main EBAC grounds. This is where you would primarily reside unless other events are scheduled for your stay.
While the type of trip can fluctuate most trips consist of:
Before each trip the purpose is assessed and planned. How much or how little you participate during a trip is up to each individual based on how they feel lead. We understand that God works and affects each individual in different ways. We are sensitive to this and attempt to be as accommodating as possible. Please understand that while we plan our ways, sometimes God has other ideas. We hope you will bring a level of flexibility with you for your experience. We welcome mission teams of all sizes, as well as individuals who want to serve long term.
If you have any concerns feel free to share them with us. We will do our best to answer your questions as clearly and honestly as possible. Keep in mind that Olive Cove trips can be customized for your team upon request. Just let us know how you'd like to serve and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

The current minimum contribution for a 6-7 day mission trip is $1,850. This consists of airfare on a private charter, modest luggage, lodging, food, and automotive transportation while in Haiti. If the dates that we choose to travel or dates that you wish to travel are unavailable relative to a private charter, alternate flights will be obtained elsewhere or through major domestic airlines. The expense for this will vary based on time of year, availability, and lead time. In general, however, Olive Cove always intends to use our standard private charter for all mission trips.
Trip Payments
For all trips an initial deposit of 50% is due a minimum of 90-120 days in advance. The remaining balance is due 45 days or earlier before the departure date.
