Benevolence † Ministry
"Nearly 1 in 10 of infants die at birth"
"The maternal mortality rate is 1 in 2 live births"
"Most children do not live to see their 15th birthday"
"Half of all citizen deaths are related to malnutrition"
"There are less than 25 physicians and 1 dentist per 100,000 people"
Every day Pastor Cebien Alexis sees the struggles of life at the EBAC medical clinic. Unexpected sickness, disease, job loss, or the death of a loved one occur regularly. Additional care is often given to other destitute individuals living on the grounds and throughout the city.
At Olive Cove, we hope to provide emergency humanitarian assistance through an active benevolent fund serviced through the medical clinic to assist with these challenges. In addition, we hope to encourage emergency medical, dental, and vision care teams to serve at the clinic. If this appeals to you please inquire here. |
