Founded in 2003 Faith Christian University (FCU) was created to focus on developing the next generation of talent in Haiti. Based in Cap Haitian, FCU has helped cultivate students in Nursing, Agriculture and Theological Studies. Many of these students have gone on to pour their unique gifts back into the local economy.
At Olive Cove we believe faith-based education is crucial to an individuals success in Haiti. Our goal is to build upon what began by expanding the original field of studies to include Education, Business Technology, and Medicine while offering certificates in trades such as construction, masonry, and automotive. Over the past several years, however, FCU has struggled to survive. As a result, the entire infrastructure at the university is in need. Before courses can begin again utilities, operational issues, and housing must be addressed. |
